Connect Da Dots: “I’m Human Too”
There are seasons where the mind gets heavy and the soul gets quiet.
This audio piece is me… connecting the dots between depression, grief, and choosing to stay afloat.
“I’m human too” is not just a phrase – it’s my confession.
As a creative, a father, a partner, a dreamer… I also get overwhelmed. I also feel stuck. I also ask God hard questions. And sometimes, the smile in the pictures doesn’t match the storm inside.

In this Connect Da Dots episode, I speak honestly about:
Carrying silent battles while still trying to show up

Grief that lingers long after the funeral is over

The small daily choices to keep breathing, keep believing, and keep creating

Most importantly, it’s a thank you letter:
To my clients, my audience, and everyone who gives their time, their ears, their hearts to my work – ngiyabonga. You remind me that my voice matters, even when my spirit feels low.
This is a vulnerable share, not as “Peela B the artist”, but as Phila the human being – trying to navigate life, faith, healing and purpose one dot at a time.

If you’re going through your own valley, this piece is for you.
You are not alone. You are not broken beyond repair. You are human too. 💛
